Sit down for a meal at the Sweet Tea Grille which serves up Southern comfort food with a twist: Soul Rolls stuffed with pulled pork, rice, black-eyed peas, chopped collard greens and onion, for example, or nachos made with pulled confit of duck that is flavored with fruit salsa and cilantro. Deli-Mart serves up delicious pizza, meaty subs and more. For those who like things spicy, there are several Mexican, Japanese and Chinese restaurants in the area. And you definitely want to sample the local grape at our own Butterducks Winery in nearby Guyton.
Of course, being so close to Savannah, you’ll want to check out some of the signature restaurants the city is known for, whether it is Paula Deen’s Lady & Sons, the Historic District’s Olde Pink House, or one of the many other restaurants captained by inventive chefs.
